TGG’s Keith Warburton has been invited to make a keynote speech at the prestigious Tees Valley Business Summit in July. His topic will be ‘Globalisation – it’s a mindset not a word’ in which he will address some of the key practical and cultural challenges faced by organisations when entering a new overseas market. Keith will draw on decades of experience living and working in countries as varied as Germany, Egypt and Japan to present practical advice to companies who are either currently in-market or who are looking at new export destinations.
This topic couldn’t be more pertinent in the North-East of England which is the UK’s strongest export region – it actually has a balance of trade surplus! Although many people think the NE’s positive export story is more or less totally dependent on Nissan and a legacy export Chemicals industry, this couldn’t be further from the truth. International trade links run deep in the North East and encompass a very broad range of sectors.
So it seems fitting that one of the UK’s foremost international trade, market entry and cultural experts should be asked to address an audience of experienced and novice trade professionals. As always, Keith promises to be both practical and entertaining – he is always happy to address specific questions either during the presentation or afterwards. In fact, TGG have a stand (number 63) at the summit and Keith will be there all day alongside his colleague (and Global Supply Chain Management expert) Neil Moon to discuss how TGG could help your international reap global growth.
